Nicole Kanj is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in gynecologic oncology at Oncology Specialists of Texas.  Nicole began her nursing career as a licensed vocational nurse prior to obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.  She worked at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS on a unit that specializes in pulmonary hypertension as a staff nurse and unit educator while also serving as a clinical instructor.  During that time, she completed her Master’s of Science degree from Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, MO.  Upon graduation, she worked in a primary care clinic working with a diverse, underserved population. Nicole is accredited as a nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
