PRE–OP Appointment for Minor Surgery: 

 

Please complete pre–operative testing and undergo anesthesia evaluation of hospital one week prior to your surgery. You are responsible for making this appointment. 

Hospital Preadmission Testing Date/Time: 

Lab work, EKG, and chest Xray may be performed at this visit. Please bring a list of all current medications to this appointment.

Please discontinue the following medications 7 days prior to surgery:

• Aspirin, Motrin/Ibuprofen/Advil, Naproxen, Aleve, Anaprox, Meloxicam
• Plavix
• Coumadin/Warfarin
•  Other blood thinners (ie. Xarelto, Eliquis)
• Multivitamin, Vitamin C, E, Fish oil or Turmeric

Failure to discontinue these medications may result in cancellation of your surgery.

Diet: No restrictions for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight,
