Overactive Bladder

OAB: Overactive Bladder

Overactive bladder (OAB) is a condition involving urinary urgency, frequency, increased daytime or nighttime frequency in the absence of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or other conditions. OAB can have a detrimental effect on your physical relationships, mental health, or overall quality of life.

Treatments

Treatment for OAB can include behavioral therapy with bladder training, pelvic floor therapy, or fluid management, medications like antimuscarinics, and surgical procedures. Depending on the severity of the OAB, treatment plans can be discussed with your provider.
